Item description for The Friendly Beasts by Catherine Ritch Guess...
Author Catherine Ritch Guess "spins" a delightful Chriatmas "yarn" in "The Friendly Beasts," set in the historic textile mill village of McAdenville, NC, known as "Christmastown, USA." With McAdenville only 30 minutes away from Charlotte, NC's renowned 12-day Christmas Show, these two family traditions make the perfect backdrop to capture the hearts of the readers. The characters of these pages "literally" come to life as "The Friendly Beasts" unfolds into a beautifully touching story told in the manner of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."
