Great read Feb 6, 2007
This book is a great devotional for an individual or a group which is what I did with my connection group (bible study).
If anyone is thirsty, come and drink... Nov 21, 2006
This Bible study book has led me on a wonderful journey deeper into the heart of God. Filled with quotes by A.W. Tozer, Charles Spurgeon, Hannah Whitehall Smith, Amy Carmicheal and others, plus Hymns such as "The Old Rugged Cross" that inpsire and encourage; the author continually points to God's Word for filling a thirsty soul and growing in a walk with Christ. I'm buying her other books. God bless you!
From Catherine's book: 'Perhaps you are thirsting for God because He has placed that thirst deep in your heart, that you might search Him out in a deeper way than ever before. Perhaps God wants to show you something new about Himself. God desires an intimate, open, vulnerable relationship with you. Don't be afraid. Instead, draw near. Pray that prayer that comes from deep within your heart and soul: Revive my heart, Oh Lord!'
James 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."
