Reviews - What do customers think about Spectrum Phonics, Kindergarten?
Taught 2 kids so far Feb 10, 2004
I have used the Spectrum Phonics books to teach my oldest two children to read. I like this series because it's basic and to the point. The pages emphasized both recognizing the letter and recognizing the sound. My children found the instructions easy to follow. Kindergarten is a good place to start, but I also highly recommend Grade 1.
This book will be easy for children who are more willing to try writing. I am working with child #3 right now in this book, and have to help him trace the letters.
