Reviews - What do customers think about Spectrum Math, Grade 2?
Good Seller Sep 9, 2009
Quick shipping, but book had more pages used than was described. Still, a good purchase at a good price, and would buy from this seller again.
Best math workbook we've found May 31, 2009
I am a fan of the all-in-one workbooks, such as Brain Quest or the School Zone Big Book; however, my son has autism, and sometimes needs things explained in a more explicit, direct manner than they have time for in those volumes. This book does just that, taking the student step-by-step through second grade math concepts. There is plenty of repetition and reinforcement, with periodic quizzes. The graphics are pretty minimal, so we tear the perforated pages out and make up packets, interspersed with more colorful worksheets from our other books.
Excellent Workbook Nov 22, 2008
This is an excellent math workbook. My daughter seems to enjoy this workbook and it is a step up from Math 1 of the same series. I do however want to add that there should be more pages per lesson so the child can practice the new concepts.
Good Math Practice Jul 7, 2008
I got this one along with other Spectrum books (Phonics, Language Art, Reading, etc.) for my son who was in 1st grade. My son finished the math book in 3 weeks, he said he liked doing math with this book because it was quite easy. I looked though this book and found that it is well organized with many different types of math practices, should be helpful. But most of the contents are easy. I expect to see a little more challenging stuff.
math book May 28, 2008
I love Spectrum books. It is a very clear and simple book. I have used many other lesson plans with little improvement. More importantly, my son, also enjoys it. He has made huge steps of improvement. I have used Spectrum last year and will continue this school year. It works!
