Item description for Cartagena de Indias: Panoramic vision from the air by Carlos Hoyos & Benjamin Villegas...
Cartagena, in many ways the most photogenic of Latin cities, is seen here from an entirely new angle. After publishing Bogota From the Air, Villegas Editores focused on this jewel city of the Carribbean, employing a novel system invented by Carlos Hoyos: a small, remotecontrolled helicopter flew over the city with a system of cameras taking shortrange aerial photographs. Here is this popular vacation destination city as it has never been seen before, from viewpoints not available by any other means. Viewed from the air, the patterns of civilization hidden in Cartagena become readily apparent.

Great photographs of a wonderful city! Nov 18, 2008
I have been to wonderful Cartagena, Colombia a dozen times and have fallen in love with the city and it's people. I came across this book at the aiport in Medellin and bought it immediately! I am an amateur photographer who have taken many photos but not like the photos found in this book. The angles and the views taken from above by a remote control helicopter give this awesome city a new look that can't be captured on the ground. It is a welcomed addition to my collection of books on Cartagena De Indias.
