Item description for I Know Things Now: Stories by Teenagers 1 (Stories By Teenagers, 1) by Carl Koch, Michael Wilt & Various...
Overview Storytelling is as natural as breathing and as ancient as the cave dwellers' bragging and miming about the kill of the day around a campfire. Teenagers enjoy telling their stories as much as anyone. The stories contained here are fascinating and moving. They make inspiring personal reading, serve as excellent discussion or reflection starters, and will find a welcome spot as readings for prayer services. They might even stimulate readers to write their own story. Each story shows how young people display the extraordinary strength and vision required to draw good out of bad situations. We hope that all who read these stories find consolation, inspiration, and great hope.

Reviews - What do customers think about I Know Things Now: Stories by Teenagers 1 (Stories By Teenagers, 1)?
Very inspiring collection of stories. Jul 20, 1999
This book is a collection of short stories written by teens. Their lives have been touched by the effects of death, drugs/alcohol, physical differences, abandonment, abuse, poverty, prejudice, emotional problems, violence and more. The authors of these stories have come face-to-face with many of these challenges and have found that they have emerged stronger for having gone through them. It is very compelling and would be an excellent book to share with a church youth group (for discussion) or to purchase for your own children. Have a hanky ready!! Recommended ages 11 & up.
