He is a world traveler, also an excellent observer and a narrator with a great sense of humor. One can read this book for a variety of reasons: before or after visiting any of these countries to discover a different angle, a different vision, the hidden side of a particular region. But one can also read this book to better understand the various cultures of the world and the particular challenges the Church is dealing with in any part of the planet.
