Helpful beyond words Mar 6, 2007
I came out of a pseudo-Christian cult. This book stepped me simply through the basics of the Bible and helped me understand why I need God, why the law of God is good, and how the law brings me to the foot of the cross begging for the blood of Jesus Christ.
This is a book that brings people to Christ by giving a good understanding of God's will. It cuts through the fog of rhetoric and reveals rock solid Truth that has profoundly changed the way I think.
I have given the book and told my other excult friends about this book and they have found it extremely helpful. Three of my friends now have left the cult and are in fellowship with Christians now.
Praise God for Christians who tell it like it is.
Excellent introduction to personal evangelism Feb 22, 2007
I have been a born again Christian for 30 years now and have been active in a Bible believing, fundamental, independent Baptist church ever since. I have graduated from college with a Bachelor of Theology in Bible. I confess that I have not completed the whole book yet, but every part I have is positively the very best treatment of personal evangelism I have ever seen, bar none. Even my college courses in this subject didn't compare. Everything on this subject written by this author or published through their publisher has been excellent. I would recommend it to anyone.
As Biblical as it gets... Jan 8, 2007
Until you read this for your self, along side the Bible, there is no way that I can put into words just how valuable this is. I encourage you as you read this to have your Bible right next to you, and check out not only the to see if the verses quoted are accurate, but read the above and below the verse to check if the message being given is out of context or not. There are many "so-called Christian books" with all kinds of quotes in them, but many are taken out of context, and it can easily be seen if you just look at the entire passage.
While going through this book several times, I found it to be "Rock-Solid"!
Each chapter could easily be a 2 or more hour Bible Study!
I continually use this book as a reference.
I loved this book! Dec 1, 2006
This book was wonderful. I got it for Christmas and found it funny, helpful, and very good. Every christian should read this. Ray Comfort reminds me of Paul in the bible. I wish I could meet him and Kirk. Annie from Farmington, Missouri
Where Is The Proof May 11, 2006
I give this item three stars because it is a good primer on Christianity. However, Ray and Kirk indicate that modern evangelical methods produce 80-90% backsliders. Where are the stats to prove that the Way of the Master method gets better results than modern methods? Have they even collected any data? If so, where is it published? Come on Ray and Kirk...I'm from Missouri. Show me.
