Great book and author! Sep 18, 2008
This book was excellent. If you are a christian college student or soon to begin college, you need to read some books by Prof. Theophilus. He is an amazing godly man and author. If you love his books, check his articles out on TrueU.org and Boundless.org. Definitely a keeper!
Great stuff for all ages, not just students! Sep 7, 2008
I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for great answers to provocative questions in this postmodern era. I believe that a person of any age would benefit from reading it.
Little confused I am as a reader Dec 29, 2007
If one is to avoid dating a woman unless she is potential marriage partner, how does the author explain that in business or school world, a young man has lunch or dinner or study / business group regularly with young women whom he has zero intention to marry? If he replies that the man does those in public areas, what is an office or a library cubicle anything but alone-time with opposite sex? Does he think that the more such time one spends the more likely the man and woman will end up in bed?
Short, sweet, not too contrived Sep 10, 2007
The chapters are pieced out of actual conversations and letters, and very well done. The questions and answers themselves are right on target, and I certainly wish I had had this book when I was in college -- it would have saved me quite a bit of repenting. Seriously. Easy read. Well worthwhile
Great book! May 13, 2007
I bought this book for all of the graduating seniors at our church because I think it does a great job of addressing normal college issues from a Christian worldview. Highly recommended.
