Item description for Merry Christmas to You by Greer...
"Although it's been said many times, many ways..." here is a fresh new way. This wonderful musical of "Christmas Cards" combines a multitude of favorite carols, along with new songs that will bring the Christmas story to life right in front of your eyes. The musical begins with your favorite secular carols and moves on to the more sacred songs and carols. Each section begins with a character either opening and reading, or writing a Christmas card. Sometimes the dialogue is conversational, character driven, and sometimes the dialogue is simple verse, like a Christmas card. The musical contains great songs for choir, solo and ensemble, along with opportunities for several cast members. The thematic "packages" can be easily divided up and used separately for pageants, Living Christmas Trees, or dinner theaters. However, the entire collection holds together as a complete, unified presentation. Songs include: A Christmas Carol * A Merry Christmas Is * Gesu Bambino * Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming * Long Distance Christmas * Merry Christmas To You * O Come, All Ye Faithful * Rejoice, He Is Born Medley * Unspeakable Gift
