Way Too Much Fun Crammed Into One Book Aug 12, 2007
I've said it before about Brian Keene. I enjoy his fiction, but where he really shines is in his non-fiction -- his attitude and dry sense of humor are incredibly addictive in this second of three volumes reprinting his online blogs/journals. He opens himself up in these pages way more than most authors ever do, and because of that, you feel closer to him and empathize with his ongoing trials and tribulations as a writer, husband, father, etc. You get a sense of his internal struggle and the sacrifices he has made (and still making) to get to the top of his field. Highly recommended, but start with volume one, SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL.
