Read this...Read this...Read it NOW!! Nov 22, 2004
You're not reading it! You're reading my review! Don't waste time - this book has more action, more adventure, more story, more EVERYTHING than you could ever hope for in a work of fiction...I am on pins and needles to read the rest of the books in this series!
Gotta Love It Nov 22, 2004
Don't be misled by the main character's title 'Knight of Death' or 'Chevalier du Morte'. He is the ultimate Misfortune's child, and his misadventures more than make up for his shady past and numerous sins. You'll hate the villains and love the blonde even though the entire cast of characters seems a bit twisted at first. This guy can't win for losing and I found myself as confused and desperate to learn the truth as he was and there were a number of times that I could honestly say "Been there, done that!" This guy is almost me in another incarnation, except for his age, of course. I don't want to give anything away, but I can honestly say when all was said and done, I completely identified with him, especially in the last chapter. Great book! Couldn't put it down. If you've ever wondered what happened to the mysterious Templar Knights of yore, you've got to read this. I hope more adventures or misadventures, as the case may be, are forthcoming.
