Reviews - What do customers think about The Fingerprints of God?
Faith affirming and compelling Mar 8, 2007
Mr. Cummings book covers a broad spectrum of topics and he does a good job of defending creation. Although certainly not an expert in any field, I have a fairly strong background in science (BSA Animal Science and MS Science Education) and I find his scientific reasoning to be clear and compelling. However, I wish the suggestions that dinosaurs were the dragons of medieval times and that there may be dinosaurs in South America, would have been omitted as I believe the evidence to support these positions is presumptuous...but, I have been wrong before. Other than those two examples, I think he does a splendid job of calling to question and refuting the 'existance by chance' theories that abound. Specifically, he does an outstanding job of providing proof of the existance of Jesus, his life's work, death, burial, and resurection. If you are looking for an easy to read, all encompassing introduction to apologetics, this is your book.
Excellent Text Book or Study Book for Individuals, Churches and Schools Feb 15, 2006
The Fingerprints of God is an excellent text book or study book for any individual, church or school. The proofs and truth that it presents are fascinating. It is totally focused on God. It is deep with evidence yet easy to understand and the pictures help enhance the meaning of the text.
A Must for All Serious Truth Seekers Feb 15, 2006
This book is a must for all serious students and searchers for the truth. If public schools were tolerant, open and honest in their educational pursuits, this book would be given equal time in the classroom. This book needs to be translated into Spanish for the hispanic community. They deserve to have a work of this magnitude available for their consideration. The material is well presented with clear scientific and biological explanations. The evolutionist theory is full of holes and their attempts to explain the contradictions in the 2nd law of thermodynamics and the fossil record don't begin to do justice to true scientific research and study. Evolution is a theory and religion, and not an unbiased scientific study. Brad Cummings, with over 10 years of study and research, has done an excellent job of presenting the evolutionist's position, showing that their research and "evidence" is neither unbiased nor accurate. This book clearly explains the readily available scientific evidence which points to a Creator and creation scenario.
Great Reference Tool Feb 11, 2006
The book, The Fingerprints of God, by Brad Cummings, is a very well written book clearly showing the evidences of God's hand in the universe around us. As Romans 1:20 says, the invisible things of God are clearly seen in creation. In his book, Mr. Cummings presents an irrefutable case for creation by God as opposed to evolution by chance. Though at times the subject matter can get quite technical, it is written in an understandable way, making common sense out of the complicated. It is a great book for your own personal study or for a small group setting. By showing that the scientific evidence actually supports creationism, this book will help restore your confidence in Biblical authority.
Excellent Defense of Creationism Oct 25, 2005
Feeling as if I am faced with a world that is very one sided about the approach to our beginnings, I found this book very helpful in explaining our stand on creationism. A great collection of research without putting on airs. Thank you for putting into print , a book that not only I , but my teens can comprehend. My background is in the science field and I grew very weary and frustrated with the dogmatic approach to Evolution. Talk about Faith based ideas! Evolution is taught as fact, but it is more like fiction. Respectfully and sincerely submitted, Linda Elsbree
