Love it! Jul 4, 2009
In this day and age where parents are so busy running their kids from activity to activity this is a MUST READ! It gives parents ideas of ways to slow down and enjoy life as a family before the kids are grown and gone...which happens in the blink of an eye. I think this book would make an excellent baby shower gift too. I bought it and have done many of the things with my children and we will continue to do them all. It is Christian based but I loved that too!
Great book for parents Jun 27, 2009
This has a Christian theme to it but is a good book otherwise with great ideas for kids of all ages!
Super Christian Jun 21, 2009
I think it would be helpful to have this book referenced as a Christian book. I missed that it was published by Faithwords. We found the constant references to God and the Bible a bit much. If I had thumbed through this in a book store I would not have purchased it. Although we did glean a few ideas, many are things we do or have thought of already. It just got old for us with all the "God fuzzies."
Simple Guide to Quality Time Jan 24, 2009
I purchased this book for my grown children. It is a great little book, full of simple ideas for having fun with your kids. Except, perhaps, swimming with dolphins, most of the activities are within reach of the common person. A brief narrative accompanies each suggestion explaining its value. A nice guide for parents who want to create memorable experiences with their kids.
nice gift Jan 11, 2009
this made for a nice gift for my friends but I read it before I gave it and less than half of the things were stuff I would really do with my kids. But it is worth that for the price and my friends said they liked it.
