Reviews - What do customers think about John 1-11 (NIV New American Commentary)?
Excellent Commentary Feb 8, 2002
This is an excellent commentary on John. It is a shame that it is on the first 11 chapters. Dr. Borchert takes a look at the book of John and realizes that John has created more than a documentary of Jesus' life.
Best Commentary On John I've Seen! Oct 3, 1998
Borchert has compiled an extremely thorough volume. He is conservative in his approach bringing together the latest in exegetical discoveries. My only regret is that it covers just the first 11 chapters. I look forward to his second volume! Highly recommended to those wanting to dig deeply into a very deep book!
