More About Terri Blackstock
Terri Blackstock is a New York Times best-seller, with over six million copies sold worldwide. She is the winner of two Carol Awards, a Christian Retailers Choice Award, and a Romantic Times Book Reviews Career Achievement Award, among others. She has had over twenty-five years of success as a novelist. Terri spent the first twelve years of her life traveling in an Air Force family. She lived in nine states and attended the first four years of school in The Netherlands. Because she was a perpetual “new kid,” her imagination became her closest friend. That, she believes, was the biggest factor in her becoming a novelist. She sold her first novel at the age of twenty-five, and has had a successful career ever since.
Recent books include her acclaimed Intervention Series (Intervention, Vicious Cycle, and Downfall). Other recent favorites include Shadow in Serenity, Predator and Double Minds, and the Restoration Series, the Newpointe 911 Series, the Cape Refuge Series, and the SunCoast Chronicles series.
In 1994 Terri was writing romance novels under two pseudonyms for publishers such as HarperCollins, Harlequin, Dell and Silhouette, when a spiritual awakening prompted her to switch gears. At the time, she was reading more suspense than romance, and felt drawn to write thrillers about ordinary people in grave danger. Her newly awakened faith wove its way into the tapestry of her suspense novels, offering hope instead of despair. Her goal is to entertain with page-turning plots, while challenging her readers to think and grow. She hopes to remind them that they’re not alone, and that their trials have a purpose.
Terri has appeared on national television programs such as “The 700 Club” and “Home Life,” and has been a guest on numerous radio programs across the country. The story of her personal journey appears in books such as Touched By the Savior by Mike Yorkey, True Stories of Answered Prayer by Mike Nappa, Faces of Faith by John Hanna, and I Saw Him In Your Eyes by Ace Collins.
Terri Blackstock currently resides in the state of Mississippi. Terri Blackstock was born in 1957.

Another great Terri Blackstock novel and series Jan 30, 2006
Ms. Blackstock's works--her plots, woven with mystery and faith, her interesting characters, et al--are always first rate. "Shadow of a Doubt," "Word of Honor," and "Trial by Fire" are no exceptions. These books, along with "Private Justice" and "Line of Duty," comprise her five-volume 'NEWPOINT 911' series... a series which will entertain and inspire readers. Highly recommended! --RON HOWE (a.k.a. Toby Martin II)
A Good Follow-up Sep 5, 2005
Well, Terri Blackstock has done it again. She definitely had alot to live up to due to her amazing series beginner. I was anxious to read this book because the first had the relationship between the two subcharacters, Jill and Dan. I had also seen anlot of Stan Shepard from the first. Ceila's character made me wonder some, but she won me over by her sweet compasion and her quirky aunt. This is definitley a good book and should be read by any suspense~romance avid readers.
A wonderful Story May 2, 2005
The story begins in Celia and Stan Shepherd's house on Mill Street in a small city named Newpointe. The day had gone along just as every other day except for the fact that during the night Stan had a horrible stomach ache and was terribly dizzy. The doctor's do lab work on Stan's blood and they see that he has been poisoned by arsenic. Celia is traumatized and becomes very quiet. When questioned it comes to the front that her previous husband was poisoned the same way and he died. However, she had been the one who had been tried and came very close to being convicted. Fortunately the charges were dropped when one of the lawyers went a little too far and started to sound biased. Throughout this whole story Celia is trying to put her life back together and she is trying to keep her world from falling down. Her friends and even some of her closest family members turn their backs on her. It seems to her as if someone is trying to sabotage her and trying to make her look very much like the killer. The police officers are convinced that she is the murderer and so are many readers. Throughout the whole story different things are happening and it seems as if every minute something new is happening. As different people are introduced into the story it seems as if the suspects change so you never really know who did it. The ending is extremely surprising and many other readers agree with me.
Predictable Apr 3, 2003
After reading the 1st book in the series and knowing "whodunit" throughout most of the book, I thought I would give this series another shot. About 50 pages into the book I knew who the criminal was. I never finished this series. However, I have enjoyed other books by Terri Blackstock.
TERRI BLACKSTOCK GAINS A NEW FAN! Apr 26, 2001
This is the second in '911 Newpointe' series and also the second book I have read by Terri Blackstock. I was a fan after reading the first book in the series but this just confirmed it. I love the suspense and intrigue she puts into her stories. All the ingredients that make up a good suspense/mystery novel are here. The story also shows the importance of friends and of their trust in you. In addition, it portrays the faithfulness and total reliability of God when people can be cold and accusing. A brilliant book.
