More About Terri Blackstock & Cassandra Campbell
Terri Blackstock is a New York Times best-seller, with over six million copies sold worldwide. She is the winner of two Carol Awards, a Christian Retailers Choice Award, and a Romantic Times Book Reviews Career Achievement Award, among others. She has had over twenty-five years of success as a novelist. Terri spent the first twelve years of her life traveling in an Air Force family. She lived in nine states and attended the first four years of school in The Netherlands. Because she was a perpetual “new kid,” her imagination became her closest friend. That, she believes, was the biggest factor in her becoming a novelist. She sold her first novel at the age of twenty-five, and has had a successful career ever since.
Recent books include her acclaimed Intervention Series (Intervention, Vicious Cycle, and Downfall). Other recent favorites include Shadow in Serenity, Predator and Double Minds, and the Restoration Series, the Newpointe 911 Series, the Cape Refuge Series, and the SunCoast Chronicles series.
In 1994 Terri was writing romance novels under two pseudonyms for publishers such as HarperCollins, Harlequin, Dell and Silhouette, when a spiritual awakening prompted her to switch gears. At the time, she was reading more suspense than romance, and felt drawn to write thrillers about ordinary people in grave danger. Her newly awakened faith wove its way into the tapestry of her suspense novels, offering hope instead of despair. Her goal is to entertain with page-turning plots, while challenging her readers to think and grow. She hopes to remind them that they’re not alone, and that their trials have a purpose.
Terri has appeared on national television programs such as “The 700 Club” and “Home Life,” and has been a guest on numerous radio programs across the country. The story of her personal journey appears in books such as Touched By the Savior by Mike Yorkey, True Stories of Answered Prayer by Mike Nappa, Faces of Faith by John Hanna, and I Saw Him In Your Eyes by Ace Collins.
Terri Blackstock currently resides in the state of Mississippi. Terri Blackstock was born in 1957.

A Satisfying Mystery That Introduces You To A New World. May 8, 2010
One has said movies are meant to take you to a world you have never been before, and this novel does that; it helps you be aware of the world of Contemporary Christian Music. This novel is a mystery, and my guide to a good mystery is to be surprised by who did it but then thinking that I should have been able to figure it out by the given clues, and this passed that test as well.
Several of the reviews have pointed out that this was not a page turner. I will be honest -- it took me a while to read it. I'd read a chapter, put it down a week, read a couple of chapters, put it down till the next weekend. However, though I could put it down, I had enough interest to pick it back up again and again. I never thought about not finishing it.
From a Christian perspective, it shows that sometimes Christians get away from their foundation.

Love this book! Mar 30, 2010
Awesome! always enjoy her books. This one is set in Nashville, TN, and it was nice reading about places that I've actually been to in a book.
Great Mystery Jan 11, 2010
Double Minds was a great mystery. I think it might be my favorite of Terri Blackstock's books. Finally a character who wasn't prefect and an ending that wasn't predictable.
Pretty Strong Mystery Dec 28, 2009
This was a pretty strong mystery. I figured it out before the end, but not right away, so that was good. I liked the main character, and enjoyed that she wasn't too perfect. The internal conflict was good and realistic.
One thing I did not like about the book was the whole character of Serene. I couldn't stand her, and as a result didn't care if she lived or died. I felt like we were supposed to feel sorry for her because of her past and excuse much of what she did as a result while knowing it was wrong. But the things she did to Parker are just in no way a result of friendship and their relationship was so one-sided. At the end, it seemed to be implied that she was trying to save Parker's life, but that didn't really come across to me. It seemed like she happened to wander in at an inopportune moment.
