Item description for Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker by Bill Hull...

How can modern church leaders empower regular church members to meet their potential as servants of God? Hull outlines Christ's methods in training his 12 disciples and presents a biblical pattern that emulates Christ's model for reaching the lost.

Publishers Description
Thomas doubted. Peter denied. Matthew had a shady past. And most of Jesus' disciples had trouble understanding his true message and mission at times. How did Jesus take lowly fishermen and tax collectors and turn them into some of the most influential men that ever lived? And how can modern church leaders empower regular church members to meet their potential as servants of God?
In Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker, Hull outlines Christ's methods in training his twelve disciples and presents a biblical pattern that emulates Christ's model for reaching the lost. By taking readers through four growth phases-evangelizing, establishing, equipping, and leading-Hull shows how these principles can be adapted for any discipler.
Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker is the perfect resource for pastors and church leaders who want to learn how to help others grow in God's service.

Reviews - What do customers think about Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker?

Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker  Jul 17, 2008
Awesome book! This is one of three texts for my "Discipleship and Evangelism" course at Bible College. I highly recommend reading the three books together (also purchased from this site at great prices!). The other two are: "Living Proof: Sharing The Gospel Naturally" by Jim Petersen and "The Master Plan of Evangelism" by Robert E. Coleman. These books totally changed my life relative to discipleship and evangelism - both practically and theoretically!

Awesome, careful, and insightful study  Feb 6, 2008
This is a fine analysis of Jesus' work in making disciples. Anyone interested in making disciples should read this careful study which is full of insight on how Jesus formed character and understanding in his followers.
