answer to prayer Apr 6, 2005
THIS BOOK WAS AN ANSWER TO PRAYER. IT WAS AN EASY BOOK TO READ AND WENT STEP BY STEP. THE EXAMPLES IN THE BOOK CAN BE APPLIED TO ANY SITUATION. MY HUSBAND AND I READ IT CHAPTER BY CHAPTER TOGETHER AND EVEN RE-READ IT AGAIN. IT WAS SOMETIMES EASIER FOR ME TO UNDERLINE THINGS TO HELP EXPLAIN HOW I WAS FEELING. WHEN I GOT THE TERRIBLE NEWS OF A FRIEND GOING THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH, I GOT ANOTHER COPY OF THIS BOOK FOR HER. I FEEL FORTUNATE TO FIND THE BOOK ON LINE...IT IS HARD TO FIND IN BOOK STORES. THE BOOK ACTUALLY SAVED OUR MARRIAGE.
Made me want to try again! Aug 16, 2000
This is a must read for couples who are experiencing daily frustration, ongoing bitterness, unforgiveness, distrustfulness, anger, or even hatred toward one another. I've read a lot of books on forgiveness in relationships, but this one had some unique concepts and practical principles that I had not come across. The content is helpful for the couple experiencing only small irritations or for the couple who has experienced a major crisis in their relationship. It's filled with real life stories, but not slurpy, or fairy taleish. I read it in one night! I only wish I wasn't divorced, so I could try to love, honor and forgive again in my marriage! This book will give you a Christlike approach to redeeming your relationships!
