Reviews - What do customers think about Pass the Peanut Butter and Jelly: Inspirational Stories for Sandwiched Families?
I've been there Feb 21, 2008
Dr. Robinson elicted a flood of memories from my consciousness. I had three grandparents living in our home as I grew up and learned how to live from them. The personal stories told by Dr. Robinson paralleled my own experiences. Families should embrace intergenerational homes because of the rich rewards for everyone involved. Thank you, Dr. Robinson, for reminding us of the value of our older relatives.
Pass the love: celebrate the unique offering of family! Sep 21, 2007
Even if your life path has not ventured the sandwich zone, be forewarned of the rising possibility. Thankfully, Dr. Robinson, in telling of her own family's stories and adventures, lets the world know the situation of being the primary caregiver for more than one generation is not so scary! Challenging? Yes. Are sacrifices required? Yes. The good news, however, is that it is also a time of opportunity. Dr. Robinson graciously shares how her parents' inner strength, devotion, and genuine love impressed upon her from a young age the true meaning of family and of the importance of faith. With humor and insight, Pass the Peanut Butter and Jelly is more than a autobiographical account of family events, it is an uplifting call to have purpose and grace in interactions with loved ones.
