Among Beth Moore's very best-selling books to date is "Believing God," a powerful study of Isaiah 43 and Hebrews 11 that centers on one simple yet bold question: do you believe God or merely believe in Him? Moore explains how God's plan is for the believer's life to really work so all will know His promises are entirely true. When we begin to take God at His Word, the result is a fresh, contagious explosion of faith.
And now the enduring favorite is available in a convenient day-by-day reading format, reminding us time and again that God is bigger than we can imagine and faithful to be who He says He is, do what He says He can do, and help us be who He says we are. Believe it

More About beth moore
Beth Moore was born on an Army base in Green Bay, Wisconsin, during what her father describes as the worst thunderstorm the city had seen in five years. He affectionately says the Lord brought her into the world with a drum roll. The fourth child of a retired Army major and a homemaker, Beth was raised in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Her father managed the local cinema where each of her four siblings had a role to play. Beth’s job was to hand out samples of popcorn and soda. Growing up in the theater had its perks. Sometimes Beth would be allowed to slip into a movie and take with her a pickle bag full of popcorn and a Dixie cup of Coke.
There in a theater chair, wide-eyed and full of Coke, Beth began a lifelong love for stories. She loved to tell them, write them, and hear them. But the story that captured her heart and consumed her life was not told in a movie theater. It was told in Sunday School-the story of Jesus-a Savior who loved children thought she was special. A seed was planted in her young heart that would grow to mark her life with a passionate love for Christ.
At 18 Beth sensed God’s call to work for Him. Although she couldn’t imagine what that would mean, she made it her goal to say yes to whatever He asked. Beth graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in political science. She later received an honorary in humanities from Howard Payne University. She married Keith in 1978, and now daughters Amanda and Melissa have joined the family. As a young wife and mother, Beth began speaking at luncheons and retreats, Mother’s Day Out, and teaching Christian aerobics.
Beth took a Bible doctrine class at her church taught by Buddy Walters, a former college football player who taught the Scriptures with tears streaming down his cheeks. She fervently prayed for such a passion for God’s Word. It was Buddy who first taught Beth, along with Keith, how to study the Bible.
Beth founded Living Proof Ministries in 1994 to teach women how to love and live on God’s Word. She has written numerous books and Bible studies, including Breaking Free, Believing God-Hardcover, and The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Issac & Jacob, Leader's Kit, read by women of all ages, races, and denominations. American missionaries and expatriates have taken Beth’s Bible study groups up all over the world. Living Proof Live conferences are in all 50 states; attended by more than 658,000 women. Ever the storyteller, Beth is known to pepper her teaching with stories and poems written from the perspective of pertinent characters. She communicates with great energy, passion, humor, warmth, and grace. Beth attends Houston’s First Baptist Church, where she hosts an interdenominational Tuesday-night Bible study for women in her city.

A Terrific Devotional - in Beth Moore's Inimitable Style! Mar 21, 2010
Beth Moore ([...]) is one of my favorite Christian teachers. Whenever she releases something new, I want to see it; her material is always biblically sound and of highest quality.
`Believing God Day by Day: Growing Your Faith All Year Long' fits that bill. This book, based on her `Believing God' book, is a devotional with a scripture verse and an inspiration message from Beth ([...]) for each day of the year.
Here is an excerpt from the Introduction, in Beth's inimitable style: I got a brand new Bible for the journey and I meant to keep it that way. I neglected it. Fumbled it. Dropped it. Opened it. Yawned over it. Whined over it. Cried over it. Begged God to help me with it.
Then slowly but surely, one discovery at a time. I fell head over heels in love with it and with its brilliant Author. I dug my fingernails into it and vowed never to let go. I may have a junkyard of broken vows somewhere but, to the glory of God, that one is not in the heap.
There are 366 different devotionals - one for each day of the year, including February 29. The book does not appear to have any particular themes.
At random, here (in part) is what she shares for April 21:
Those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified. Romans 8:30
All of us who are believers in Christ have a calling. I am convinced God assigns our callings for a host of reasons, many of which serve a purpose in us, not just in those we will serve. God is the master of multitasking.
This is a lovely book to give as a gift. It is hardcover and has a padded front cover. A ribbon in attached for use as a page I would highly recommend it - especially for those who admire Mrs. Moore!
This book was provided to me by B&H Publishing Group for review purposes.

Grow your faith! Dec 23, 2008
Beth Moore uses powerful verses to start each daily devotion. Every day has a lesson for us; God's Word never ceases to apply to our life! As Beth writes in her introduction, "Live by faith. Live out loud. And never stop believing God-day by day." One of my favorite verses comes from Lamentations 3:22-23, "His mercies never end. They are new every morning: great is Your faithfulness!" May our journey in life be purposeful and in line with God's will and favor, for He is so good to us!
