Mother from Sun Prairie Aug 22, 2005
Brilliant! The little princess who did not want to clean her room ran off to join the rumpled street kids. Her experience which at first was liberating and fun became ugly and shameful to her. Her father the king quietly witnessed her disobedience and patiently waited for her to return home on her own. Upon her return he forgave her, cleaned her up and tucked her to bed. I have a four and seven year old and they both understood the message of the story. Every child should read this message of our Lord's forgiveness.
A Favorite in my House!! Jul 24, 2005
A great book for all. I read it to my 4 year old girl and she loves it, but my two boys 9 and 7 loved it too!!! And it's personally one of my favorites. A classic story that will be read many times in my house. I highly recommend this book for all. But your girls will love it!!!!
God's love and forgiveness--for any age! Nov 12, 2003
This wonderful book is a parable about a girl who discovers that privilege without responsiblity is not at much fun as she imagined. Children and adults can enjoy discovering the love of the King toward His wayward child.
