Reviews - What do customers think about One Year Bible For Children?
Great way to study the Bible Mar 27, 2007
We are a homeschooling family and were looking for a way to incorporate bible study into our already full schedule. The One Year Bible for Children is perfect. I have my son read the passage and then I re-read it to him to help him comprehend more. We have had some great discussions based on the prompts at the end of each passage. Taking one lesson a day seems to be managable and very enjoyable to both of us.
Great Bible for Children Jan 22, 2007
Very nice Bible for Children with 365 different stories (one for each day of the year). Great to read to your toddler or for an early reader. My daughter really enjoys "reading" a new bible story every night.
He couldn't put it down!!!! Jan 3, 2007
I got this for my son who is in third grade. He took it with him everywhere we went. He read it in the car, when we were having to wait somewhere, to his grandmother's house, and to bed. He read it in just a few weeks. It was a real hit and he was able accurately tell us about the stories after he read them.
Excellent way to read the bible Oct 26, 2003
This is an excellently written, faithful translation of the Bible that is broken down into 365 readings that are at just the right level for my five year old. I searched long and hard for a way to build Bible reading into our daily routine, and I have found many children's Bibles too watered down to get the point of the story across to my five year old. This one is at the perfect level, but I also think that there is enough in each story that we will be using it for another 4-5 years. My son begs me to read it to him every night before bed.
The questions and lesson at the end of each reading help to get my son involved in the reading for the day. My son is regularly complimented by his pre-school and Sunday school teachers on his Bible knowledge and this Bible is why.
