"God's Woman of Yesterday Speak Boldly to God's Women of Today."
"The women of the Bible play an integral, essential, and crucial role in the eternal plan of God. From heaven's point of view, women are always unique, matchless, and irreplaceable-they are never to be found in a subservient ranking within the kingdom of God. The woman characters featured in Woman of the Bible (Book Two) demonstrates to us the struggles we all have in being faithful and submissive to God's design. Examples are given of those who received blessing from a surrendered walk with God as well as those who did not follow His directions. Other examples are given of those who learned the ideals of inner beauty, surrender, and servanthood over time."
"Through a detailed study of each of these noteworthy women of the Bible, you will learn that God has called today's woman to play a significant role in society, in the home, and in the church. You will learn from their mistakes and discover that the blessings of God are heaped upon the woman who faithfully trusts the Lord in all situations."
"In the pages of this books you will come face to face with such questions as: "
"* Do you take comfort in knowing that God sees everything, including the wrongs that others have done to you?"
"* What does God say through His Word about showing partiality to others?"
"* Do you realize that God loves you in spite of the fact that others don't seem to?"
"* Can it be said of you that you are a beautiful person on the inside?"
"* What do you need to do to make it more difficult for you to give into fleshly desires?"
"* Do you possess a submissive spirit as evidence of God working in your life?"

Reviews - What do customers think about Following God: Life Princ/Women Of Bible V2?
Good Study, Fairly Well Written Jan 5, 2007
This book is an in-depth study of various women of the Bible. It's designed with sections for 5 days of study about each woman. It has some thought-provoking questions and some good application in each unit. The authors take you to other places in Scripture, making good connections. It's designed with some questions that explore what the passage says and some questions that make you think past just "fill in the blanks". It has all of the major study stages: observation, interpretation and application.
Negatives: There are a few questions that are puzzling and I'm not quite sure what they're aiming at. (In fact, one question wasn't a question at all - it was just commentary with blanks to put your answer!) They've got a pre-determined format (5 days of study for each woman), so in at least one of the units they're really stretching to make 5 days worth of study out of enough material for 2-4 days. A couple of times they begin with a preconceived idea of a message and try to force the study that direction, but this is fairly rare. They put the studies of Hagar, Rebekah, and Rachel back-to-back. There was a lot of overlap and repetition in them.
Don't know! Aug 12, 2006
Thank you for the shipment which came in good time. We have not yet started our Bible Study, which will be in Sept. We studied Book 1 last year and enjoyed it so decided to take Book 2 this Sept. Thanks very much! I rated this item based on Book 1
Wonderful study! Feb 1, 2006
I have enjoyed the study of different women in the Bible and be able to relate their life to my life now. This is a 5 day study for 12 weeks. These books have been very interesting and are great for one's own study or could be used for a group bible study.
Women of the Bible Jul 4, 2004
Finally!! A Bible study that actually has you study the Bible instead of just giving opinions. I really loved this study and can't wait to do the other one on Women of the Bible. Our church group all loved this and recommend it highly.
GREAT BOOK! Jul 4, 2004
I don't know where the other reviewer is coming from, but I thought this was an excellent book. Instead of just telling me what to believe, it took me to the Bible so I could draw my own conclusions. I especially enjoyed the lesson on Bathsheba. I have done 7 of the Bible studies in this series and I like them better than just about any other Bible studies I have done (and I have done ALOT!) Definitely good stuff!!
