Reviews - What do customers think about The Reading Room/Six?

A new distinguished literary journal  Nov 15, 2006
At last there is a distinguished literary journal for the humanities that includes great poetry as well as "writing for the moment." In it we find memoirs, interviews, biographies and short stories, all of the highest caliber. We find a piece by Saul Bellow that--to my knowledge--had never before appeared in print. "The Reading Room/Six" is a tribute to Saul Bellow and Larry Rivers with short biographies of both men--worth it just for Bellows gem, "Something to Remember Me By," but there is far more. Consider Barbara Probst Solomon's interview with the eccentric painter and jazz musician Larry Rivers, "An Afternoon at the Madrid Ritz," for a literary treat, or the Leslie Jackson's poem about a cricket unable to stop raising questions. Thank you Great Marsh Press for what we hope will continue to give us great "writing for the moment" literature in all genres.
