Captivating! Once I started reading, I was hooked. Mrs. Kelsch really brings us to the inner circle of the followers of Jesus and explores their feelings and emotions in a very clever way. To me it was like the rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, but goes one step further by getting the perspective of more than just the Apostles. There are many more followers' stories brought to life including many women who supported Him.

As a Christian I have read many Christian books, but I feel this book is certainly one of the best. The story is inspiring and keeps you wanting more. This book comes at the perfect time along with the Passion of the Christ it is powerful and spritiually fortifying.
Wonderful Book! Mar 15, 2004
By highlighting the humanity of those closest to Jesus, Interviews from the Sanctuary gives added dimension to the gospel story. The book is fictional, but the Biblical references are accurate and it does an excellent job of conveying God's unconditional love. I was moved to tears, as I identified with those touched by the Master. This easy-to-read novel will touch your heart.
Intriguing, well researched, inspirational Mar 6, 2004
I found the use of interviews to convey the Gospel a rather clever idea. It was enjoyable to read the interviews of Mary and Joseph as well as the Roman soldier and Pontius Pilate. This book is informative from a historic point of view and inspirational from a spiritual point of view. Throughly enjoyed it.
