Truely Inspiring! Jul 31, 2006
I was blown away by the honesty and true faith in God and Jesus that Barbara displayed in this book. I feel that she is a very strong person to have gone through all that she went through and still have COMPLETE faith that was never faltering. The author is truely blessed and this book shows what it means to be touched by God.
Outstanding! Very open and honest Jul 25, 2006
I read this book in 2 days. I could not put it down. The way the writer open her deepest secrets should inspire us all. I don't know what to say but a GREAT book. You should read it even if you don't have children.
Wow, this is a great book Jul 25, 2006
I really did enjoy this book. It is the most honest book I have read about the struggles of parenting that are connected to the lies that we believe about ourself. This book provides so much hope as the reader is given a wonderful example of restored relationships. Do not miss out.

Help! I Don't Like My Child Jul 9, 2006
It was a great book! Full of emotions. There were happy times and sad times. There were many "I can relate to how she feels" times. This is the first book that I've read cover-to-cover in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. Parenting is not an easy job. There have been many times I wanted to resign from "motherhood," but you can't. That's just not an option. You have to work through it. Barbara does a good job of pulling you into her character so you feel what she feels. You struggle along with her. Your mind tells you that you shouldn't feel like saying "I don't like my child." But reality says "Some times that happens and what are you going to do about it?" She clearly explains the struggle in your mind of where you "want to be" in your relationship with your child and the reality of "where you are." But she doesn't leave you there. You walk with her through the steps to achieve the goal of where you "want to be." I highly recommend this book.
