Publishers Description The Concord Reference Edition is one of Cambridge's most admired settings: it offers an exceptionally clear and readable typeface, complemented by the innovative Cambridge Bold-Figure Cross-Reference system and printed with references and pronunciation marks on a conveniently sized page. Cambridge already offers the Concord in fine bindings, including calfskin leather. Now there is an even more splendid binding to grace this beautiful Bible: black goatskin leather with the bonus of a real leather lining for extra strength and durability. This extra touch of luxury lends it a traditional flexible feel seldom found in modern Bibles. This Bible offers a wealth of reference material a 128-page Bible dictionary, a concordance, a glossary and 15 colour maps. It is printed on India paper with glorious art-gilt edges and two ribbon markers. Customers wishing to make a present of this exceptional Bible will appreciate the presentation page at the front, while the family record section makes it appropriate for any special occasion, be it a christening, wedding or graduation. It comes in a special lid-and-tray presentation box."

Reviews - What do customers think about KJV Concord Reference Bible (Black Goatskin)?
KJV Concord Reference Black Calfskin CD267 Jun 8, 2007
"God's Word revealed to a simple man." The Book contains the key to eternal life. What an awesome GOD, to send HIS only SON - from Glorious Heaven, to filthy earth - to become a man, as you and I, and to be Crucified, willingly, to die for The Believer's Sins....and to defeat Death - and Rise Again, Immortal, and Eternal. THANK YOU JESUS.
Poor print quality Mar 2, 2007
This bible is a pleasure to hold in your hands (Black Goatskin Leather). I was concerned that the size of the type would be too small, but that was not the case at all. As another reviewer pointed out, the print quality was poor. The letter shapes were slightly distorted (not laser printer crisp) and small portions of some letters were missing, The text is easy to read, but still a disappointment to a graphic designer/typographer who's profession involves noticing such imperfections. I will be keeping the Bible because I trust Cambridge to get the scripture itself right, which is obviously the most important consideration. I don't have the same faith in other publishers in that regard.
did not meet my expectations Jan 20, 2007
Let me just say that I love the bible. I have been searching for a high quality copy of the scriptures and after reading many reviews I decided that the cambridge bible was it. I recieved the bible in a reasonable amount of time and immediateley began to read it. Many of the reviews I read raved about the quality of the typset, how fine it was. Unfortunately this just was not true of the edition which was sent to me. Much of the type was missing portions of the individual letters and was blurred in some places. I can get this type of quality for a third of the price from a bible at Wal-Mart. Also the two ribbon markers which came with my bible were already starting to shred at the ends when I first opened the bible! What a shame. The only positive thing I can say about the bible is the fine leather cover. I purchased the goatskin leather edition and the leather was exquisite. Thats the only thing I will miss about this bible because I am returning it.

This is one of the finest Bible bindings I have ever owned. I am a Pastor and my Sword it used on a daily bases so I need one that will hold up. this site had the best price value.
Amazing Quality Dec 6, 2006
Let me just say I have a bit of a problem. I have bibles, lots of them. I might have found what I would call the holy grail of bibles. The leather on this bible is fantastic, much nicer than any of the calfskin bibles that I have. Oh, the soft subtle smell of a leather bible. It looks like someone knew what they were doing when they made this bible. The paper is beautiful and I love the refrence system of this bible. No little numbers in the text to annoy or distract you. The refrence system in this bible should be used in all bibles. The size is perfect for me not to small as to get lost and big enough to fit comfortable in the hand. The font and type is clear and dark. So far the only thing I have found wrong is in the back in the bible dictionary, some of the words seem to be a little washed out or the type is not as dark as the rest of the bible. This is the first bible that I have actually felt like I got what I paid for. I would recommend this bible to anyone.
