Item description for Free To Be: Lessons in Liberty for the American Christian by B. Kay Coulter...
Overview This book is about "true freedom." It is not a book of pat answers or stated formulas that lead to freedom but rather a guide to serve you as you embark on a journey alongside a loving God, encountering His truths and incorporating those truths into your life. The format is designed to be a daily devotional, with Scripture references, teachings, and words upon which to meditate. We need to understand the freedom we have in Christ. Many things can enslave us, but we have the choice of whether or not we allow ourselves to be enslaved. Ours is a journey to freedom, where truth leads the way. Jesus said it this way: "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). "While Americans celebrate their freedom, many Christians are held captive by harmful attitudes and destructive habits. Free to Be offers daily lessons that combine a strong biblical foundation with thought provoking questions to help readers learn to be all God wants them to be." -FLORENCE LITTAUER Found of the CLASSeminar Speaker/Author: Personality Plus and Silver Boxes
