The Easy to Read Bible Feb 18, 2010
I have appreciated this translation of the Holy Bible, since is found Ps. 86:1 "Lord, teach me your ways, and I will live and obey your truths. Help me to make worshipping your name the most important thing in my life." Much like this in this version. It is very readable, understandable and eminently a delight to the heart.
Easy to Read Bible Aug 21, 2009
This is a very good and easy-to-read version. But there is an older edition of this bible that is more accurate. I've not run across the older version, as of yet, but I'm searching, for I believe it to be the best English reading Bible around. The new version says, in Psalms 51:5, that a baby is born a sinner, which I believe is impossible. The ASB, NASB, KJV & NKJV are more accurate...meaning 'brought forth' in a sinful world, and in sin my mother conceived me (out of wedlock). Children are not born with sin but learn to sin as they learn anything else. So, therefore, I give this bible a 4 star. And I'm still looking for the more accurate version.
