Audrey offers these prayers and reflections as her testimony to what Christ can do in the lives of those who seek Him. Dr. Murrell is a Professor of Business and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her B.S. from Howard University, magna cum laude and her Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. Professor Murrell received the "Women of Distinction" award from the Girls Scouts of Southwestern Pennsylvania, the Susan B. Anthony "Women of Vision" award from the Women's Leadership Assembly, the Community Champion Award from the United Way of Allegheny County, and the Chancellor's Distinguished Public and Community Service Award from the University of Pittsburgh. She conducts extensive research on mentoring, breaking the "glass ceiling," diversity, and women's career advancement. Audrey serves her community as the board chair for Urban Youth Action, Inc. and as board secretary of the NorthSide Christian Health Center. She is an ordained Elder within the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and is an active member of Bidwell Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Audrey J. Murrell received her B.S. from Howard University, magna cum laude and received a M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. She joined the faculty of the Katz School of Business in 1989 and is currently an Associate Professor Business Administration. Dr. Murrell conducts research on the individual and organizational strategies that advance the careers of women in organizations with a special emphasis on topics such as mentoring, breaking the “glass ceiling”, ending workplace discrimination. Audrey Murrell serves as an ordained Elder within the Presbyterian Church USA and a member of the governing council for the Pittsburgh Presbytery. She is an active member of the Bidwell Street United Presbyterian Church where she serves as the leader of the pastoral care ministry and church treasurer. Dr. Murrell is the author (along with Crosby and Ely) of Mentoring Dilemmas: Developmental Relationships within Multicultural Organizations, published by Lawrence Erlbaum and the book, “Intelligent Mentoring: How IBM Adds Value through People, Knowledge and Relationships” published by Prentice- Hall.
