When Nurse Debbie Vanter dies mysteriously on a mountain road, and a terminal patient complains about her pain killers, Barry finds himself drawn into a quagmire of deceit and murder.
- and things don't get better when he is confronted by an ice cold Joe Kranken who tells him the Mafia wants him dead...
A fast, scary thriller that will make you think twice about that next hospital stay.

A review by a surgeon Apr 28, 2004
A gripping story of narcotic mafia narrated with cinical precision. Skillfully crafted at an unbelievable pace, you cannot leave the book till you reach the last page. A real thriller full of suspense.
A tale of deceit and action leaving you gasping for more! Apr 27, 2004
Arvin Chawla brings us on a delightfully wild caper through mystery, adventure and mayhem in his debut book. He drowns us in the murky world of drugs, mafia and murder gasping for more after every turning page. Arvin has a talented eye for excellent drama and unforgettable characters that leave us wishing for more and screaming for a sequel. A can't put it down tale of deceit and thrill a minute adventure, Terminal Care grips as all good fiction should grip and when it is over, you don't want it to end. I'd love to leave this book on an airplane minus last few pages! The truly great reads get me all ticked off when I read the last page and this one left steam pouring out of my ears. I want more! . . . A darn fine read.
