Beautiful artwork and storyline May 10, 2008
The artwork and storyline are awesome! This children's story is about a little tree who feels left out. Eventually we learn that "good things come out of small packages..." Great for Tu B'Shevat or any time of year!

Reminiscent of the wisdom of Dr Seuss's, "a person's a person no matter how small", but takes it one step further by providing the greatest honor to the smallest of all. Well done, beautiful illustrations. I read it over and over hoping the message will sink in for my 5 year old. There will always be others who don't recognize potential and value, but have confidence because we each have a purpose. We are fortunate Sylvia Rouss found hers.

Loved the story, and, especially, the way in which the illustrations fit each page as far as the story was concerned. Loved the illustrations!!!!! Also, love the way the title on the cover was at the top of the cover page, and that it fit the format for the titles in that publisher's other "Littlest" series. Great for little children, but also for all ages.
