More About Anonymous
Throughout the history of literature, since the creation of bound texts in the forms of books and codices, various works have been published and written anonymously, often due to their political or controversial nature, or merely for the purposes of the privacy of their authors, among other reasons.
Historically, when a book was published and the author information was not known, then that book would be said to be written by Anonymous. In its most literal translation, anonymous simply means that no one knows who was responsible for the literary work.
Reviews - What do customers think about A New Day: 365 Meditations for Personal and Spiritual Growth?
Very helpful for recovery Jan 19, 2002
As someone who's in recovery from an addiction, I find this little book indispensible for centering me, helping me to begin my day with awareness, and often highlighting a spiritual focus for the coming day. I use it to kick-off my morning prayers, but I could see it being exceptionally helpful for a middle-of-the-day boost as well.
This book seems to contain the essential ingredients for making a true connection with God/higher power, and the author serves as a super-sponsor, someone who both talks and walks a very spiritual path indeed. This book has really helped me!
One of two I use daily. Jul 13, 1998
This book offers some of the most spiritual thoughts I have found to start my day. While some of my meditation sources change, A New Day is a staple.
