All For the Love of Money! Aug 14, 2008
What p-e-o-p-l-e do for monay!!!!! Sexing, robbing, killing, drugging, trafficing you name it......Shanna, Karen and Mina were doing it all for the love of money. The sad part about these characters are they truthfully describe some of the silly minded girls in the world today. Living in the now and not giving any thought or consideration to the future and consequences that come with their thoughtless actions. Their sole moral is stacking the bread using their VJJ. Like Usher said....Raw dogging is a no, no but they forgot the number #1 rule to the game! Anna J. once again entices us with her words and keeps us hungry for every chapter bringing the book full circle in teaching a lesson in safe sex. Can't wait to read the sequel!
Anna J has done it again!! May 26, 2008
Anna J has done it again with Get Money Chicks! This book is a page turner like all the rest and will leave you craving for a sequel! Mina, Karen, and Shanna all had one thing in common: GETTING MONEY! With a friendship bonded by their quick "gettting money" schemes, they had no boundaries when it came to getting that paper! But when Shanna's gig, Chilae, starts to sneak around with Mina, their friendship is tested and secrets are revealed one after another! If drama is what you want, Get Money Chicks is what you need!

Finished it but didn't really feel it... Feb 22, 2008
... I was going to say that "I really didn't like it" but that wouldn't be entirely true. This did seem like a "beware or this could be you" type story. The 3 women in this book were a little over-the-top for me with thier antics and gold diggin' but I guess that was supposed to be part of the draw for this book.
Anna J. is a very good writer but I didn't feel her on this one. It jumped around a little too much and that, for me, really slows the story down. It did pick up at the end and I can see a sequel on the way. Don't think I'll read it though. She did put a teaser of her next book at the end and I think I will be getting that one. From the few pages that were there it seems that Anna is doing what she does best... sex and drama, drama and sex.
This book should not be the first book for people just reading Anna for the first time. Start out with 'My Woman, His Wife' and you'll see why I have reservations about this one.
Left with questions//// Feb 6, 2008
I was wondering, is the Monica mentioned in this story, the same as Anna's other books? Also, when they kept referring to "what happened in 2004" is that in one of her other books?
