Reviews - What do customers think about Ancient Egypt (Make it Work! History)?
What with this picture of black boy Jan 4, 2005
What the aim of putting Nubian or Sudanese (Black) kid in Egyptian book cover, we are the Egyptian not black, please stop sticking us to the blacks, please put some body who looks Egyptian
It is a craft and educational book! Jan 7, 2003
I really liked this book and it provided me with information I hadn't gotten anywhere else. The crafts are a good way for students to be active and learn. Education isn't just book reading. People need to learn to create with their head and their hands. This is a book that blends ancient civilizations with creative activities. Good work!
Make it Work Review Jan 4, 2000
This book was a craft book. It had almost no info. There were about 10 paragraphs of info in the entire book. I felt it was a waist of money because I needed the book for research not Halloween. I will keep the book because it dose have neat crafts. I thought I would use a lot of index cards(I put the info for research on them)while useing this book but I couldn't even fill up 2. It is a good craft book but not a good book for research. I hope this review helped.

Summer Art Camp uses this book Jun 3, 1998
This is an outstanding book for use by educators. The projects and information are detailed and clear, very easy to follow. Our Summer Art Camp for children ages 5-12 will be using the projects from this book for our time machine trip to ancient Egypt of crafts, costumes, ceramics, etc of the period. This book is perfect for what we are doing!
