More About American Bible Society
The American Bible Society is an interdenominational, non-profit, donor-supported ministry whose mission is to make accurate and affordable translations of the Bible available to everyone. Founded in New York City in 1816, ABS is dedicated to presenting the Bible in compelling ways so that people can experience life in its fullness through faith in Jesus Christ. ABS is responsible for a number of "firsts": the first Bibles provided to the U.S. military in 1817, the first pocket Bibles for soldiers during the Civil War, and the first Bibles in hotels. The society extends its outreach internationally through the United Bible Societies (UBS), a fellowship of 126 international groups, and was instrumental in founding this global fellowship in the interest of efficiency and making a greater impact. In 1999 alone, more than 63 million copies of the Society's publications were distributed throughout the United States and the world.

Reviews - What do customers think about Santa Biblia: La Biblia mas pequena en espanol con letra que se puede leer! (Spanish Edition)?
stockpile while you can Dec 7, 2007
Something that might not have crossed your mind RE this edition: the SIZE might enable someone, such as a tourist or missionary, to SMUGGLE the (Spanish-language) Holy Bible into a "closed" country. Furthermore, once the copy successfully reaches an intended student, the hard-to-get copy is more likely to remain in the hands of same.
By ordering several copies at once, you can get Free Shipping (when net total is over 25 bucks) to a domestic address. Additionally, it is possible that such a GOOD (well-printed, affordable) Bible might get discontinued in the future. Why? At my age (55) I've noticed that it's the GOOD things that get discontinued, and that one had better grab the perennial good stuff while it is available, before it is suppressed (or considered 'no longer worth marketing'). Bye.
Letters to small to me Sep 16, 2007
I lked the Bible because I can keep on the top of my desk but I need my glasses and some effort to read it. It is not sooo easy to read as they advertise. Anyway, it is complete, a good version, good looking small Bible, but with very small fonts.
