Reviews - What do customers think about El Color De Mis Palabras?
Words do have colors! Nov 18, 2003
This is one of my most favorite books ever! It is a coming of age novel of a young girl in the Dom. Republic. Through poetry at the begining of each chapter the mood is sucsesfully set, telling of a girl who lives in poverty and the restrictions of the government. When she tries with the help of her family to resist them trying to take her property, she is struck by tragedy. This is a beautiful, moving book that might cause a few tears. I cannot say enough about it. I'm sure it will inspire others like it inspired me!
