Greatest book since Lad: a dog. Beware to the people reading this for the first time because I might have givin something away. Sep 1, 2007
This book might be better even than Lad: a dog! I enjoyed it when Albert Payson Terhune told about Lad's puppyhood in the beginning of the story. This book had better adventures (maybe) than Lad: a dog and this book revealed a lot more. It was very very very sad at the end (you can probably guess why) but it was a very good ending (sort of). At least it's continued with the same character in another Lad book! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.
