Reviews - What do customers think about Batak Sculpture?
A Must-Have Book on Batak Tribal Art Jul 13, 2009
I can not improve upon James Cole's review, which is excellent.
I do want to add, though, that this book is magnificent. The authors write in an easy fashion while providing fascinating information from multiple referenced sources. Perhaps more importantly, there are large 4-color photographs on every page (heavy-stock glossy paper). It doesn't get any better than this. If you are interested in Batak tribal art, this book is worth every penny. (You can get it cheaper at the this site Marketplace and on eBay.)
