"Dasha" is the first published work by the author, Aagje Franken, known to me as "Ada" (pronounced 'Ah dah'). She was born in the Netherlands and emigrated with husband and two small sons to the USA in 1957. US citizenship was established and a daughter and another son were born into the family. After the children were grown and had 'left the nest', it was time for Ada to get on with other accomplishments. Most notably, she became a full-time house-mother to several groups of young women who needed a second chance in life. Years later, she moved to Florida where she served as local Director for a non-profit organization giving help and instruction to women and families in desperate need of counsel. Now semi-retired, Ada has finally taken time to write down the story of 'Dasha'. This may be her first published work, but it will not be her last as she continues to write about those things stored in her heart all these years.
