The author apparently attempts to patch her knowledge of quantum physics, gained as a solid state researcher, into her more recent career as a meteorologist. It doesn't work. Some statements are just flat out wrong, e.g the earth's atmospheric boundary is about 10 km thick (more like 1-2 km during the day and much, much smaller at night). There are some interesting comments about modeling but other than that it is not worth the read.
